If you feel that you may be a victim of purchasing a lemon car, a good rule of thumb is to be sure to keep good records - make sure that you keep all of your receipts, documents, repairs and communications. It is also imperative to be aware of timelines and repair attempt qualifications and to be persistant with the dealer or auto manufacturer. Some consumers find it necessary to consult attorneys but that is not always necessary if you arew aware of your state lemon statute and know what actions that you need to take.
